If you are an NBA fan this might interest you, tickle your funny bone, make you laugh out loud, and have more proof that NBA referees really struggle. On Sunday, April 15, 2007, the most ridiculous thing happened. The Spurs were playing the Mavs. Tim Duncan(Spurs), sitting on the bench, said something to Joe Crawford(referee). Joe Crawford was not amused by this and quickly gave him a technical. Barely a minute later, after a foul was called on the Spurs, Duncan sat laughing on the bench. Crawford, apparently thinking that laughing on the bench is not appropriate (in a league were players are constantly arguing with refs and getting away with it), quickly slapped him with his second technical–an automatic ejection.
